Sundays have a different meaning for a lot of different people.

At The Alder Cottage Sundays are dedicated to baking bread.
This started way before the creation of The Alder Cottage.

It started with Alex in her moms kitchen, sitting on the counter, eating raw dough - whilst her mom was covered in flour, using a pair of fruit de looms as a head band & tried to convince her not to toss dough on the ceiling.

Whether it’s your first time making a loaf or your sour dough starter was your first child - this is the day you fall in love with a slice of warm bread slathered in butter.
